• Agricultural Age - Who are You?

  • Neolithic Revolution began around 12,000 years ago when humans transitioned from nomadic hunter-gatherer lifestyle to settled  farming communities.  This shift led to the domestication of plants and animals, leading to the development of civilizations and changes in social structure.

• Industrial Age - What do You do?

  • Began around 1760 in Great Britain.  Replacement of hand tools with power driven machines and the concentration of industry in large establishments.

• Information Age - What do You know?

  • Mid 20th century.  Rapid shift from traditional industrial  to an economy based on information technology.

  • Definition - The idea that access to and the control of information is the defining characteristic of this current era in human civilization.

• Transformation Age - How do You “Move”?

To Move: Verb, To change in position from one point to another.  To follow a specified Course.  To change posture or position: stir

Bible….

Exodus 14:15, tell the Israelites to “move on”.

Leviticus 26:10 You will be eating last years harvest when you will have to “move it out” to make room for the new.

Mathew 23:4  They tie up heavy, cumbersome loads and put them on other peoples shoulders, but they themselves are not willing to lift a finger to move them.

Hebrew word for move is Malach - which means “messenger and Angel”

• Could this be a sign for you and I to shift our focus?

• The older I got the more this nagging sense that there was something more tugged at me

• Like Samuel… finally I was told “to lay down”

• That was almost 11 years ago

  • After a lifetime of gaining knowledge and living in the Information Age

You have Your story…. Are you deep into the knowledge gaining mindset?  Maybe you have already transitioned and experienced transformation?

The BIG spark for transitioning us out of the information or knowledge age is AI

• Everyone has access to knowledge

• No longer “knowledge is power”

• The education model is dying...

• Knowlege and information are no longer differentiator

Where is knowledge Supreme in the U.S.

• Healthcare spending up 17.6% in the U.S. 2023 with the highest slice 31.2% in Hospital care

• Highest paid professions are in the medical field

• Also among the most stressful jobs.

What does that mean for You and Me as we “move” to the transformation Age?

• We have to determine what we are Moving toward?

• What does transformation look like in our world’s?

• What Knowledge or information do I need to shed, to allow me to Move?

• What do I need to move, specifically?

  Why is this relevant?

• Kids… future

• Set the “example”

• The world needs a “new model”

• We will parish if we keep hammering down the information and knowledge road

• Jesus teaches us to “Go” and make disciples.

What does the “Transformational Age” Look Like?

• Action

• Community based - people engaging with people

• Collaboration

• Creativity for the

• Working together for the Kingdom vs the Dollar

• Having a life of Purpose…

• True Jesus followers increasing (Sleepers awaken)

• Life “to the full”When Jesus spoke again to the people, he said "I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life"

Hebrews 10:24 - 25 And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds, not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another - and all the more as you see the day approaching. (Consistency frequency)

James 1:2-8 Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance. Let perseverance finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything. If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you. But when you ask, you must believe and not doubt, because the one who doubts is like a wave of the sea, blown and tossed by the wind. That person should not expect to receive anything from the Lord. Such a person is double minded and unstable in all they do. (Perseverance - overtime, then you get the payoff ... wisdom ask and receive if you truly believe... no hedging,)
