Paul shares this in Timothy to Timothy... What does this mean to you? I have a perspective that I would love to have a discussion with anyone in our community about. Perspective is revealing... go in open and curious and see how God works....

As most of you know I am reading the bible front to back for the first time in my life… Something that is being revealed to me is be very discerning when interacting with anyone who heavily leans into the Old Testament for guidance today. There is a chance that their thoughts are being influenced by the enemy… to distract us from what Jesus taught. Paul has referred to this several times in his letters, and Jesus himself did not encourage those who held onto « the law ».

The power of a community that doesn’t judge is we can share these insights. 👍🏻

Sunday morning early, I listened to chapter 7 of the Andy Andrews book, “the travelers summit”…. AMAZING… the topic was wisdom.

Then, doing devotional in the morning later… reading the Bible from front to back the first time in my life… I read this…”We do, however, speak a message of wisdom…. 1 Corinthians 2:6

What has been revealed to you based on this share???

… as a « grafted » in branch … I have to help Paul in his mission and his hope … take in these verses and share the impact on you 😀

“But some of these branches from Abraham’s tree—some of the people of Israel—have been broken off. And you Gentiles, who were branches from a wild olive tree, have been grafted in. So now you also receive the blessing God has promised Abraham and his children, sharing in the rich nourishment from the root of God’s special olive tree. But you must not brag about being grafted in to replace the branches that were broken off. You are just a branch, not the root. “Well,” you may say, “those branches were broken off to make room for me.” Yes, but remember—those branches were broken off because they didn’t believe in Christ, and you are there because you do believe. So don’t think highly of yourself, but fear what could happen. For if God did not spare the original branches, he won’t spare you either.”

Wow!!! If I am “peaceful” and grateful… I am letting the peace of Jesus rule my heart ❤️… Praise God!!!

This also applys to the physical body… have a look at this verse with that perspective… thoughts?

Arise (from depression and prostration in which circumstances have kept you-rise to a new life). Shine (be radiant with the glory of the lord), for your light has come, and the glory of the Lord has risen upon you.

I have a thought… and I want others perspective first… then want to share my thought… and my hope is that all who participate in this discussion grow in their awareness.

“Jesus answered, My kingdom (kingship, royal power) belongs not to this world. If My kingdom were of this world, My followers would have been fighting to keep Me from being handed over to the Jews. But as it is, My kingdom is not from here (this world); [it has no such origin or source].”

Wow, this brought me new awareness and perspective. I often wondered why devout Jewish people (generally) don’t believe in Jesus, and that He is the Son of God.

His kingdom is not of this world, that’s why we are called to not deal with worldly issues in worldly ways… ie fighting to keep jesus from being handed over…. It was the Jews who wanted him killed … he was messing up there good thing.

Whenever “man’s wealth or power are threatened, If they are of the world, they will look to fight or silence those who threaten them.

Think of politicians who have huge salaries and perks… CEO’s, Kings, Queens, Leaders of University’s, Hollywood, Churches who have gone astray…. Movements like Black Lives Matter LBGT… all are trapped in the world and its trappings.

I could go on …. What is your perspective?

I have been on a quest to eliminate 12 pounds and live in my new self going forward. My pattern as been I get to the weight that has me in a joyful spirit and then I expand to the point where I am a little sluggish...

I started at 194 on June 2, and currently I am at 186... on the way to 182 (or so...) back to where I am sensing that joyful spirit physically. I learned recently that encouragement from those close to me is a great thing... So, putting myself out there and asking that ya'll encouurage me!!!

Learning how to maintain along the way, and that has been fascinating.
